Exploring Piano Basics Class

Learning the piano is a complex endeavor. Protect your investment with a solid foundation.

Students in Pre-Kindergarten-3^rd grade are welcome to enroll in the Exploring Piano Basics Class, which aims to expose your child to creativity and fun while learning the basics before the commitment of enrolling in private lessons in my piano studio. Together we will furnish a solid grounding in the basics and unlock the creativity and love of piano in your child!

Content

Students will receive a comprehensive knowledge of how to read music in both clefs with creative learning tools.
The ear will be introduced as our guide to produce music with singing and exploration on the keyboard.
Rhythmic pulse will be established with dancing and listening to music examples.

Thus the basic elements of music are established before approaching the instrument. Music is a complex endeavor; the class will greatly ease this initiation.
Structure & Policies

Only Pre-Kindergarteners-3^rd graders are eligible.
The term of the class is 4 months long, with tuition of $125 per month.
Students will receive 16 one-hour lessons in a small group, or 16 private 30 minute lessons.
